Kaum sind wir von Coca aufgebrochen und wieder on the road m\u00fcssen wir uns schon in Geduld \u00fcben. Am Morgen hat es stark geregnet und die Fl\u00fcsse steigen hier immer gleich sehr schnell an. Die Landschaft ist stark \u00fcberflutet. Wir fahren auf einer Schotterpiste am Rio Napo entlang und geniessen die tropische Landschaft. Als uns ein Bus entgegen kommt, meint Hifi noch: \u00abGegenverkehr ist gut, das bedeutet, dass die Strasse durchwegs befahrbar ist.\u00bb<\/p>\n
Weit gefehlt! Denn pl\u00f6tzlich stehen wir an einem breiten Fluss, quer \u00fcber die Strasse und keine Br\u00fccke in Sicht. Vor uns warten schon zwei Busse und ein Pickup. Der vorderste Bus steht da schon seit vier Uhr morgens \u2013 jetzt ist es 13 Uhr. Aber es m\u00fcsste heute noch m\u00f6glich sein, den Fluss zu queren, meinen sie. Also stellen wir uns auf Warten ein und machen es uns im Auto gem\u00fctlich, wie alle andern auch.<\/p>\n
Nach ca. zwei Stunden ist der Wasserpegel schon merklich gesunken. Das Wasser schwillt hier wirklich unglaublich schnell an und ab. Der erste Bus wagt nun die \u00dcberfahrt. Er schafft es r\u00fcber, doch das Wasser ist immer noch etwas kritisch hoch. Die andern Pickups und wir warten lieber noch etwas l\u00e4nger. Nach knapp drei Stunden wagen dann auch wir die Querung und schaffen es unbeschadet ans andere Ufer.<\/p>\n
Zum Gl\u00fcck gab es bei den n\u00e4chsten gr\u00f6sseren Fl\u00fcssen immer eine Br\u00fccke. Wobei eine davon ebenfalls stundenlang gesperrt war weil es sie mit Schlamm \u00fcberflutet hatte. Wir hatten aber Gl\u00fcck, da sie kurz nach unserer Ankunft gerade fertig ger\u00e4umt und wieder offen war.<\/p>\n
Tja, was man so alles erlebt wenn man kleine Nebenstrassen w\u00e4hlt statt \u00fcber den Highway zu brettern! Einfach Zeit sollte man gen\u00fcgend mit im Gep\u00e4ck haben.<\/p>\n
